A Rapid Design and Install project for HSE Estates

An existing facility in Milltown required an additional Day Care Services facility with a reception and nine consulting rooms.

The Challenge & Goal
Working within a tight timeframe and an even tighter physical space at the rear of an existing services complex, this facility required a real focus on design in order to maximise space while providing a modern, comfortable and secure consultation facility.

The Solution
Cpac Modular designed a number of innovative solutions in order to optimise the use of space during the day. Here, we designed a retractable wall between two large offices that when opened served as a large meeting room and training facility.

In addition, we provided for a number of specialist functions including security doors between the large reception and waiting area and the nine consultant rooms. A novel solution was developed for heating where a low energy heat transferal system was implemented to transfer the excess heat from the side of the building which received the sun all day to the opposite side of the building.
